Nurse’s Assistant Certification. Though a nurse’s assistant works under the nurses, having this certification shows experience in the field, even if you are a recent graduate. Hiring managers like to bring on new nurses who know the basics of blood pressure and other measurements, so even if they seem like trivial tasks, include them on your resume.
Experience in the field. If you are moving on from another nursing job, mention it! Work experience counts for a lot because experienced nurses are more comfortable in hospital settings. Include all of your responsibilities and make sure to mention what departments you’ve worked in (Neurological, Cardiac, etc.).
